There's another interesting package out there called Movie Outline that has some very clever ways of visualizing and organizing your screenplay. Do you find yourself taking shortcuts with your scripts that you wouldn't see on, say, Jeff Parker's Atlas scripts, because you know how you want to handle it without visualization cues in writing? I would also add that, the knowledge and understanding of what it takes to write a truly engaging, well-constructed story is becoming a lost art form. Did you guys have any exercises or anything when coming up with premises? I try to watch movies and read as much as possible and that works. This leaves the storyboard artist (who in my mind is really directing the artistic vision of the cartoon) room for his or her mind to work out the funniest gags for the cartoon and write dialogue that fits the gag .
